AC/DC to tour Europe again? « Thread Started on Oct 23, 2009, 11:35am »
C/DC European Dates For 2010? 23rd October 2009
Reports suggest that AC/DC have booked two Italian shows in the summer of 2010, leading to speculation that they may play more UK dates next year.
Blabbermouth quotes Italian newspaper La Samba as saying that the Aussie hard rockers will be playing in Turin at the huge Olympic Stadium on 8-9 June.
It has to be said that these reports are without any truth right now, so don’t go booking those flights to Italy just yet.
However, if those dates turn out to be true then it would put AC/DC in Europe just two days before Download Festival 2010.

So if they come here where is it gonna be, the O2 or Wembley Stadium?
Although I prefered the O2, I don't realy wanna go through that stressfull frenzy of getting tickets for there again. Also I've got some unfinished business with AC/DC at Wembley by being right at the front next time and I'll have to put up with people throwing their pints of lager (??) over me.

Well, the Italian dates where 'rubbished' by the band, however, I had an email from ACDC.com following my membership renewal and I take it as a hint but the email finalised by stating that we have a 'nother year of shows in 2010 ???

I really do hope there are more UK dates for 2010, I've seen them twice this year at Wembley and Manchester and it was fantastic. If there are I'm going to make the most of it and go to as many as I possibly can.
Actually soon I'm gonna have to register on AC/DC's forums, it might be only £20 but at the moment my finances are all over the place so I'm waiting until things settle down, probably/hopefully just after Christmas.

Hi Whippy, liked your photos by the way from last Friday!
Yes, I used my membership last year and got fan club seats for the show at the Bercy Arena in Paris in February, this was the show the Mrs had to go to hence seat tickets chosen, however... the FC seats where nothing short of amazing, right next to the stage and an experience I will never forget.
I managed 4 more dates in 09, Manchester MEN, Birmingham NEC, Wembley & Hampden, the FC only really helped with the Paris tickets, but like I say, at least your guaranteed two tickets for a show.
If they do return, I for one will be going to at least 2 or 3 shows if they are within my travelling/financial limitations. Want to see them in Europe again at least one more time.

Thanks, glad you like the pictures.
Thanks for the information on being a member there, sounds like I'll get a fair few good benefits by registering, I might actually by being a member there if they do more UK dates have a bit more of a chance to get tickets directly instead of fighting on eBay for them given for the most part greedy touts (don't get me started on them) get them before us real fans are able to. Come closer to Christmas I'm really gonna have to register!
If they do more UK dates, while unlikely, it would be cool if a few different songs were on the setlist. It'd be nice to see some Stiff Upper Lip or Ballbreaker material personally or some more older stuff that isn't played like Jailbreak or Get It Hot or something.
The setlist how it is now and when I went though is still damn good though at least.
I got run over by truth one day, didn't see the red light. Since the accident I walk this way, I only did what felt right. From this day on its either Grow or Pay..[My5:]

Ohh yes, five dates in total are official, 1 at some airfield in Austria and 4 in Germany which includes 2 festivals, the German festival dates make it look highly unlikely that the boys will be at Download 2010 as it would prove a monumental logistical excercise in such a short space of time, but one never knows.
Lets hope for some UK dates as well, whilst I fancy 1 trip abroad to see them, thats about the limit of my budget fo2 2010 !! So more UK dates are a must !

They aint changed the set list on this tour at all, with the exception of adding Dog Eat Dog to the European shows and shows since then.
The fan club, whilst guaranteeing you 2 tickets for ONE show, offers few other benefits, however, I joined again simply to receive that right to the tickets. The free gift etc is a pile of cheap plastic rammell !!!
But, if its tickets you want then I suppose its worth it.
