Them Crooked Vultures on Planet Rock.. A Queen Of The Stone Age+A Foo+A Zeppelin = pretty damn good IMHO.. I can see yet another trip to HMV on the cards. Also.. Blackout In The Red Room - Love/Hate.. bit of a lost classic that one eh? good band

I can't believe its the same band who recorded Final bleeding Countdown! |

Coool.. I assume you mean the ''Van Hagar'' era then. I'm a huge fan of Sammy Hagar anyway and like most of the stuff he did with VH.
5150 is a classic, OU812 and F.U.C.K. are both pretty good, the rest is a bit sketchy IMHO. The live album 'Right Here, Right Now' is a stormer in parts too. The least said about Van Halen 3 with Gary Cherone (**spit**) the better.. I've tried with that album but it's a complete disaster.
The original 6 Roth era albums are faultless in my eyes I must say.. even Diver Down which a fair few people hate.
The new Europe album is a real surprise to me. They're a band I've loved to hate since Final Countdown to be honest. They've been playing tracks on Planet Rock which I've heard, not knowing who it is and thought 'flippin brill'. Its a stonking album to be fair.

Listened to some of Opeths albums after being recommended. Some of it I find brilliant the more lyrical stuff, but the death metal 'growling' isn't my cup of tea.Courtesy of spotify online.
Black Label Society - Skullage on the ipod.
Porcupine Tree - Deadwing in the car.

Never heard this group before but been checking them out today . Heavily influenced by Led Zepplin . Would make a good tribute band but they do other stuff as well . Am liking a lot

Freebird by Lynyrd Skynrd but not all of it as it was on the radio and they didnt want to play the whole thing due to its length. Anyway, what I heard of it I really liked so must ask the music guru for an uninterrupted listen (I imagine its on one of his 3 ipods somewhere!).

Talking of Skynryd just listened to the new God and Guns Album a few times and it is pretty good thereby making me feel gutted not to have gone and seen them earlier in the year!

Face the Day is an Angel City song.. Highly recommend Angel City AC/DC fans can't fail to like em. Great White covered another of theirs... "Can't Shake It"..

Great White - one of those bands that get it spot on or dreadfully wrong.. for me. Face The Day is a magnificent track and I love those albums from that era.. Rock Me is brilliant. But then I have an album of Zeppelin covers by them which is awful..
