Wavey Davey will laugh when he sees this yes ok i am obsessed beyond belief that the 1969 moon landings were indeed a total lie for mankind [ and the landings after that aswell ] I about 90% believe it didn't happen and will fight the argument with anyone to the point of deleting my account [ if i cant hack the pace ] that says otherwise ;D be VERY interested to hear peoples thoughts on this subject......

I often wonder if they didn't have the technology to adequately film and photograph it? There's a lot of holes in the coverage from then.. like the lighting etc.. very convincing arguments rubbishing the photographs etc. It just seems a hoax of such huge proportions doesn't it? Too big to hoax? But then again there was nowhere near the mass communication that there is now. Why have the Russians never been? Especially at the height of Communist Soviet Union? Their scientists insist the radiation beyond earths protective 'zones' would immediately fry us.. I think the percieved need of America during the 'Cold War' to outdo Russia, led to some outragious claims.. would it really be beyond the government to fool a scared populace? People didn't question authority in those days like they would now.

Interesting reply Sir.... One thing that really makes me think...if it really was filmed LIVE from the moon...what would have happened if something had gone wrong in front of millions of people watching at that very moment and an astronaut had been killed or the spaceship couldnt get back? America would have been a failure to the world....so it was pre filmed in a studio

Also.. the photography expert I saw on Discovery said.. given that the highly professional photographs were taken on Hasselblad (sp.) style cameras.. you have to look down into the viewfinder and wind on manually.. the astronauts were wearing huge helmets and what amounted to oven gloves. The shots were expertly lit from various angles rather than the single light source there should have been, namely the sun. I think they did go to the moon but were unable at the time to take good enough photographic/film evidence and thought they could fake it.

I always thought that the photos were a bit too good to be taken on the moon, bit I reckon the 'one small step' video was real enough though ...

I think you're right but how much of that standard of coverage would have kept the public interested?.. people were much less questioning back then and I doubt they would have expected the level of scrutiny given to the photos 40 years later

Clearly a hoax.... how can you even ask this!!
100% proof, based on un-arguable evidence:

because im an ancient F*** I remember when it was happening.. I think the problems of pulling off a water tight hoax are far more complicated than actually doing it.... however there was a pissing contest going on with the Russians at the time, so I think all sorts of bullshite was entered into to make the Ruskies think they were getting beat... I think there was alot of fake embellishments added to what was really happening to make it all seem so.. "look how awesome we are".. and its these 'decorations' that fuel the whole conspiracy thing.. I believe , as I do with most conspiracy theories , that to make it stick on suach a large scale is pretty much impossible.. The rocket went up thats for sure.. I think they got there and found it to be actually quite dull.. Thats why we havent tried it again... til now.
Now then..something far more interesting.... Life on other planets.. yes or no.?

Agreed then haha
Life on other planets? yes absolutely.. would they come here? only once. i think its impossible for there not to be. But imagine if we were the superior beings and a humanoid lifeform was only at medieval stage of development. we always imagine these Metropolis like worlds where everyone is on hoverboards haha
