Hi All, Ed told me to just play along to my fave DC track........here I am at 0255hrs and I still sound like 'let there be a nightmare'..... any help will be great.....or maybe Ed is right ;-) just keep trying \../

Ah, this bass guitar thing is a mixture of developing dexterity, coordination and being happy that the notes you create match whatever you're playing along to. Thankfully I've never had to do all those things together.............I couldn't even spell them (I use backing tracks). Hope that helps ! Ed.............just keep going

I'd recommend 'The Bassology of AC/DC' to fullfill your AC/DC bass desires. I started playing 2 years ago and I've had a great time playing along to tracks as the replacement Cliff Williams in the Gweedo household. At the Live/Wire gigs I try and stand so I can get a good look at Shakey but there's 2 problems:
1. He's left handed and I'm right.
2. I get caught up in the music and have too much of a good time to watch what he's doing!
I've also got a TASCAM BT1 bass trainer which is like an MP3 player in whihc you can slow down tracks and isolate the bass to get a better understanding of the bass line.
Anyway, the bass is an awesome instrument so keep at it!

HAHA...............I'm just the same, got so lost in the music on saturday night during hard as a rock that I forgot to go up for the BV.s at the end of the song........LOL
